Planning meeting 2026

Dear Colleagues

Let me start by wishing you all a great start of 2026.

I am also wishing IHE Pharmacy a good and productive year. This year I believe we are going to have more editorial / authoring help, which will help IHE Pharmacy.

We have some work ahead, some of it in articulation with HL7. With most of us aware or focused on EHDS and the work in progress there, the IHE work is expected to support that, as we have done in the past, by providing the IHE infrastructure and global specifications, which can be tailored to EU needs. So we need to advance on that.

In addition to planning that, we also have some administrative stuff to address, so I would like to call for an IHE Pharmacy meeting to plan the coming activities. This should be in the afternoon (EU time) to accommodate for guests from America.

Proposed topics:

* Update IHE roster with representative names - CHU Genève, EAHP, Dedalus, GS1, NICTIZ,... (you know who you are)
* Plan work items, calls, F2F and delivery for the first half of 2026

* some administrative issue.

Any preferences for dates? I would like this to be during January.

I have changed my role at GS1 and am now moving into a political mandate. In the short term, I can still provide support, but in the long term I will need to step out of this role.

 

I am aware that I have contributed very little to this group recently. At the same time, I am highly active at the political level, working to bring international standards into the Swiss healthcare system at government level. IHE and HL7 remain constant companions in this work.

• Friday 30^th,between 14:00 and 15:30 CET
