Embedding Images within a CCDA?

Other than using the nonXMLBody tag, is there another way to embed images within a C-CDA document?

As example, we may have a patient with burns and want to include pictures of those burns within the document for something like Transition of Care.

Look at ObservationMedia and ReferenceMultimedia elements in CDA.

On way to approach this is to reference the image from the C-CDA document and include the image and the document in the same submissions set in an XDR or XDM transaction (or submit them both to an XDS repository and register the metadata in an XDS registry).
