I am working on a National Imaging Registry for NHS England. I am asking for any experience of supporting a polyhierarchy for typeCode to classCode -basically can typeCode belonng to more than one classCode.

Going slightly recast the question. Should type ONLY refer to a single Document construct. For example in Radiology a single type should ONLY retreive either a DICOM Manifest or an Imaging report - NOT both.
