Good morning,
You may have heard through your association with the IHE ITI domain, with the EHR|HIE Interoperability Workgroup (IWG), the eHealth Exchange, or IHE USA, that these groups are all collaborating to test the update to IHE’s HPD profile which includes a new Federated option. (The updated profile may be found at: http://www.ihe.net/uploadedFiles/Documents/ITI/IHE_ITI_Suppl_HPD.pdf)
Given the high market and ONC interest in piloting this profile ASAP, we are seeking your involvement in a “ virtual connectathon” occurring now, followed up by an optional in-person testing event for those meeting certain criteria, and a potential demonstration at the HIMSS15 Interoperability Showcase. The in-person event will be at the IHE North American Connectathon 2015 at the end of January.
To this end, you are invited to join a WebEx session to be conducted Wednesday, October 29th at 4:00PM ET with the joint teams leading this effort.
