All,

Attached are the following documents for the EVS design:

Generic EVS Design Specification
HL7 V2 EVS Design Specification
NIST HL7 V2 EVS Implementation Specification
Validation Results Reporting
HL7 V2 Message Validation Results Reporting
HL7 V2 Support Files

These should further clarify our earlier discussions on the EVS design and
also provides the roadmap for writing other EVS specifications. In addition,
the document set shows the relationship between the EVS and validation
reporting.

Rob,

Nice work - thanks for doing this. I'll use the documentation to update the DICOM EVS.

Regards,

Rick.

Rob,

I've finally got around to reviewing the documentation set you sent. Nice work - I am very happy with the approach and will write the DICOM documents corresponding to your HL7 versions. I will then update the DVTk EVS as described by this documentation. Once this is done we will provide a downloadable installer package on the dvtk.org website for the DVTk EVS. We don't have plans at the moment to host the DVTk EVS ourselves but will look into this in more detail later.

Apologies for taking so long to reply.

Regards,

Rick.
