Planning for the 2009 Interoperability Showcase is well underway with a dedicated support team working hard to ensure its success. We are actively engaging vendors to declare interest in participating in the 2009 Interoperability Showcase. Please read on for information about the showcase and how to get involved.
What is the Interoperability Showcase?
The e-Health Interoperability Showcase is a vendor neutral demonstration of commercially available products that adhere to various IHE profiles and/or pan-Canadian EHR Stable for Use Standards. The Showcase allows the vendor community to take a leadership role in the promotion of sharing clinical information amongst varying health care systems. Through the use of a clinical scenario, conference attendees take a tour of vendor applications that represent a part of the clinical scenario that demonstrates the ability exchange health information and ultimately improve patient care and safety.
The showcase is organized by a team of dedicated project managers, marketers, clinical and technical experts working hard to ensure you benefit from:
· Greater exposure as an industry leader: more people taking tours; specialized tours with buyers, end users and, teams from health regions and provinces; greater media awareness.
· Showcasing and demonstrating your leadership in new technology and system features: New clinical scenarios will allow you to demonstrate more IHE Profiles and/or pan-Canadian iEHR standards; demonstrate interoperability at the Showcase and from your tradeshow floor booth!
· Stress free participation: improved onsite coordination and technical support.
· Professional development: expand your knowledge and expertise by learning from industry peers; foster and demonstrate working relationships with industry partners.
How do I get involved?
If you are interested in participating in the 2009 Interoperability Showcase, please fill out the declaration of interest form (attached) and submit it to Alison Gardner via email (agar...@coachorg.com) by November 26, 2008. You will then be invited to a series of online meetings to further refine the clinical scenario and supporting IHE profiles and pan-Canadian EHR standards. No other commitment is required at this time. Please note we are especially interested in hearing from Infrastructure vendors interested in demonstrating a federated, multi-jurisdictional infostructure.
