This workshop covers a range of topics related to electronic health communication and standardisation relevant to health providers, managers and IT industry. The unifying theme is examining the use of standards to move healthcare connectivity forward. While standards involved are somewhat “hidden” from view, knowing about them is crucial for purchasers and users of healthcare technology.
