Jantar-IH Split affiliates to IHWO
We are delighted to welcome
Jantar - IH Split
in Croatia as a new affiliate!
IH Split in Croatia was established under the name Jantar in 1992 as a school of modern languages. The school
offers English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Russian, as well as Croatian as a second language. It is also a Cambridge exam centre.
Josip Sobin, CEO, said, “From all of us at Jantar - IH Split, a big thank you for accepting us into your
family. We are looking forward to sharing our passion for education with you for many years to come.”

to the IH family!
The school is one of the largest and most well-established teacher training centres in China. It offers
a range of Cambridge Assessment English qualifications - including TKT tests & preparation, CELT-P and S, CELTA, ICELT and Delta.
Ray Childerstone, Director, said, "A key reason why we wanted to join the IH network is that, as we grow,
we want to extend beyond our traditional focus on teacher training to a more diverse range of products to meet the needs of an ever more discerning Chinese market."
IH Torun's Teacher Training Day
The
IH Torun Teacher Training Day 2019
took place recently in Poland.
A record number of participants attended from across Europe to take part in the workshops. Topics covered
during the day included spoken grammar, 1-2-1 teaching, aspects of contemporary English, and self esteem.
Several of us from
IHWO
attended the IATEFL Conference 2019
in Liverpool.
Across the week-long event, we connected with many IH teachers – past and present – from around the globe,
and met school managers and many new people!
