The IH South Italy Conference 2019
IH British School Reggio Calabria recently hosted the IH South Italy Conference,
(Etna) From the Other Side.
Workshop topics discussed many themes, including the 'forgotten senses', inclusiveness, and use of music, video games and
stories in the EFL classroom. To finish the day, participants enjoyed a traditional Calabrian dinner!
IH Freiburg acquired by Akademie Zeitgeist
IH Freiburg has been acquired by Akademie Zeitgeist, a new German language course provider.
Owner Jutta Volderauer, who will stay in the company for two more years, said, “I’m happy that I got in contact with the
people of Zeitgeist, who are all professionals. I have no doubt that – with the knowledge and the network they share together – they will bring the school to the next quality level.”
Daria Polygalova, from CLIC IH Seville, attended ST Alphe Spain on behalf of IHWO, chatting to many agents about studying
abroad with IH!

IHWO attends key industry events
Our COO, Lucy Horsefield, took part in the Brexit panel discussion at the recent English UK Marketing Conference, reinforcing
the importance of communication in these uncertain times.
Other topics covered were ID cards, advice on air travel, the Erasmus scheme, agent-school partnerships, and work rights.
Lucy also attended the 10th anniversary party of Bonard, who have just rebranded from their former company name, StudentMarketing.

IH Montevideo's Summer Conference
IH Montevideo held their Summer Conference 2019 in February under the theme of
Change and Innovation in Education.
Performances of Understanding, good classroom practices to benefit all students, and social and emotional
learning were among the main topics covered.
