Good afternoon,
For computer memory issues, I am trying to create a human reference genome with only chromosome 9 in it. It is to use in a classroom on computers with limited ram memory.
Is it possible to download one from an existing database?

Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,

For some assemblies you might find the sequence separated by chromosome from the UCSC downloads pages.
