Hi,

I am doing comparison on sequencing data, and after I load the bam files, all the tracks autoscales itself. But that is not what I want, I would ideally want it all to be in the same scale to do the comparison, i.e. look at the differences or absolute similarities. Wondering anyone running into the same problem or having to set the data range individually to match to the highest in that region. Anyway you can do it in a more efficient manner?

Thanks.

For coverage tracks you can right click and explicitly set a data range, but you will have to do it for each one individually.    For comparing coverage there is a more efficient option.  First compute coverage for your bams using "igvtools".   Then load the resulting "tdf" files,  multi-select the tracks,  right-click and select "Group autoscale".

There is an open issue to allow "group autoscale" on bam coverage tracks, but it is not available yet.
