Hi, we've just updated our server and now when I launch igv I get this error message:

So something is wrong with my X11 setup.  If I do
echo $DISPLAY
I get
:0.0

I use a PC and access our UNIX servers using ssh secure shell.
Any advice greatly appreciated,
with regards
Lavinia.

Hi, can you run xclock?  (Just type xclock > return).

Hi Jim,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply and thanks for the xclock suggestion.

I use Ximg Server with ssh and I found out that our IT had just started blocking it, which coincided with the server move – they have unblocked Xming and bingo igv works again for me.

Thanks for your help,

Lavinia.
