Prevent tracks from being clear when loading from URL

Hello - I would like to have IGV 2_18.9 not clear my tracks when loading. This used to be the case (way back in 2_11) so does anyone know where that customization resides?

Could you post the URL you are using?  I assume you mean a web link, not "Load from URL" from the file menu.  Most likely you need to add the parameter ("&merge=true").   See https://igv.org/doc/desktop/#UserGuide/advanced/external_control/#html-links
