Hi
I was wondering whether a program exists to convert TDF files back to
bedgraph...
We mistakenly erased our bedgraph files after converting to TDF.
Google reports something about TDFutils, but I cannot find a specific
application to download on my machine.
I searched the igv-help user group to no avail.
As always, thanks much for your help
Alex

Hi Alex,
There is a TDF to bedgraph command in the 2.x release of igvtools. It is not documented, and not considered released because we haven't tested it rigorously yet. It has been used to recover some bedgraph files here.
If you want to try it, the syntax is
igvtools tdftobedgraph <input file> <output file>

Thanks it worked great: Input tdf and output bedgraph data look identical in IGV.
