Can't open IGV anymore

IGV was working fine, then I closed it and I cannot open it anymore. It is bouncing in the dock for a few seconds then it goes away.

What is happening?

I am on MacOSx and I am using IGV_2.4.10.

OK it is opening again now.

If someone has the same issue, I think the problem came from the fact that I had Java10 (?) installed. IGV requires Java8 and do not support newer versions (https://software.broadinstitute.org/software/igv/download).

So you can: uninstall Java, following: https://www.java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml

And install it again. At the time of writing, the recommended version for MacOSx is still Java8 anyway (I do not remember where my version came from): https://java.com/en/download/mac_download.jsp.
