Hi all,
I am using the IGV web-app to visualize custom bacterial genomes. I am able to upload fasta sequence along with index file. I want to see gene annotations as well and i have gbk (genbank) files for the same. Could you guide as on how to do the same?
I am able to do so in desktop application but not in web-app. Also is it possible to create/ upload .genome files on the web-app?

To answer the first question, the genbank file format is not currently supported in the IGV-Web app. However, you can load annotations in gff or gtf files.

For the second question, the IGV-Web app does not support the .genome files, but you can load a .json file that defines the reference genome as described here: https://github.com/igvteam/igv.js/wiki/Reference-Genome
