Hi there,
I am trying to view 3 BAMs in one IGV view without the need to scroll. Other users are my workplace can do this without needing to scroll but for some reason my settings have changed. I don't mind if I can't see all reads in this one view just want an overview of the 3 sequencing tracks.

Perhaps you have checked the box "Display annotation and data tracks in a single panel" in View > Preferences > General?
By default the box is NOT checked, and the tracks for each loaded BAM/CRAM file are displayed in a separate panel that can be resized by click-dragging on the panel boundary. You can make each one as small as you want.
However, if that preference box is checked then all the tracks will be in one large panel and you would have to scroll down as you described.

Note that if you don't want to see an alignment tracksat all (ie only the coverage track) you can right-click on either the alignment track or its corresponding coverage track  and uncheck "Show Alignment Track". To bring it back, right-click on the coverage track and select "Show Alignment track"
