Missing gene in mm39

Hi,

I am trying to map a target of interest (i.e. Gm26917, validated and annotated) to the mm39 genome.

However, IGV says it couldn't find Gm26917 locus/features even with the mm39 genome loaded.

Could you please advise on possible solutions?

Please verify you are using a recent version of IGV (current version is 2.17.4). Also, you can try refreshing the mm39 genome by selecting it from the "Genomes > Selected Hosted Genome..." list.

When I search for Gm26917 this is what I see. The location is chr17:40153888-40159679
