Hi, I have a problem saving the igv snapshot in SVG format.
There is no problem exporting it to PNG, but I need SVG.
Has anyone had the same problem? I work on Mac.

This is the message I see when I try to open the SVG file:
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 101 at column 12: PCDATA invalid Char value 1
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

I re-installed IGV and have 2.17.4 version now.
Thank you for any help!

I can't reproduce your problem.  Can you post a PNG image of what you are trying to snapshot?

Thanks, I still can't reproduce this.  What are you trying to open the SVG file with?   Also, could you zip and attach the SVG file here?

Hmm... I don't know how to attach a zip file, so I am uploading the link to my drive.
I tried to open it with Illustrator (message: The SVG is Invalid. Validate it before opening) and Corel (I see only two gray squares and a TIDX word on one of them).

But I see the error message when I hit Spacebar on my Mac to preview the file.

Thank you!
The most probable reason is that the reference GTF file is crashing this. I tried to export without it, and it worked. It is weird because I used it in the past as well.

There are illegal characters in the SVG document, and looking at your PNG screenshot you can see these characters as sample information headers.   I think you are loading a file that IGV does not recognize and is wrongly assuming is sample information.   If you correct that problem I think your SVG will export successfully.
