Hello,

I am trying to download the hg38 RefSeq gene annotation (like the "RefSeq Genes" track in IGV). Is there a way for me to get access to this? Thank you in advance!

Hi,

If you mouse over the RefSeq track name in IGV it will show you where the file is loaded from - i.e. https://s3.amazonaws.com/igv.org.genomes/hg38/ncbiRefSeq.txt.gz

You can download the file directly from there. There's also an index file at https://s3.amazonaws.com/igv.org.genomes/hg38/ncbiRefSeq.txt.gz.tbi
