Dear all,

there are still 3 seats left for the online course “Comparative Genomics”, taking place 23–27 February. This course offers a comprehensive introduction to genome comparison, focusing on structural variation, and combines lectures with hands-on exercises using real genomic data. We will extensively use igv during the course.

Key learning outcomes include:

Genome assembly and annotation
SNP and structural variant detection
Functional interpretation of genomic variation
Comparative analysis across multiple genomes
