Geospatial Council of Australia (GCA) to commence in 2023
Australia has a new peak body with a workforce agenda for the geospatial sector following a merger decision (21/11/2022) voted by members of the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) and the Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA|GITA). SSSI and SIBA|GITA will merge to form the Geospatial Council of Australia, to be launched in March 2023, with all individual and organisational members of its founders automatically transitioning to the new peak.
