IGoogle Skin Question

I've been reading about how to make my own skin using the API and I
have even started tooling around and made my own. I'm nowhere near
complete but I do have a question to ask. I was wondering if by
using a skin/theme you can use other peoples gadgets customized. I
want to attach custom RSS feeds to my theme but the only way I'd know
how is if I used a preexisting gadget to do so. Is that even
possible?

Hi Billy,

Firstly, what have you been reading exactly? Google's Official Themes
API was launched last week and this is quote different from the Custom
iGoogle Skins gadget... pls can you clarify this first?
