In my google personalized home page the most important module is the
google reader one.
actually is very annoying that each click on the reader module
(including bubbles pop up or scroll arrows) results in firefox loading
the page in the current open tab.

Is that any solution to this? some tab preferences to be added?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

Thanks for your report. I was not using this module myself, but it is
indeed very annoying. I have opened a new issue
[http://code.google.com/p/igsidebar/issues/detail?id=19] about it.

thanks so much for quick answer.

actually a would suggest another feature: a quick collapse control
added to sidebar when reloading is not needed (also closing and
reopening is like reloading, is not it?).

only to hide the sidebar.

another hint: I find tabbed personalized page very useful (and even
more useful when using your sidebar).

actually in the networkadvanced.com tabs module there is an annoying
call to statcounter.com (or another counter I do not remember well)
that is slowing down the page loading.

I managed to copy the xml to my site, erasing the statcounter call and
use it as a new tabs module.

sidebar+tabs is the solution.

I was thinking about the need for a quick collapse myself, but was just
waiting for another user to suggest it :) I opened
[http://code.google.com/p/igsidebar/issues/detail?id=20] for you.
