Accommodation in Maidan Garhi, near the University

This is a request to members who are familiar with the Maidan Garhi locality; also people who has already travelled for the interview who can help us.

 

Appreciate if you can provide information on the kind of accommodation available near the University where others can put up for a day or two while coming for interview.  Any other guidance that you can provide on travel also will be very helpful.

There are guest rooms available in the campus itself. The respective schools can guide you in this regard I think. School of health science's presentation was over on 9th oct. I was told that the guest rooms can be booked through the school, try sending an application through your school. Best of luck.

Thanks much for the info.  Could you also comment on the weather in Delhi?  Do we need to be prepared with any special clothing?  I am sure winter is setting in, how cold is it?  Or is it rainy?

During my stay the climate was very 'pleasant', temp was 25-30.. But its past two weeks...still..Dont think you need to wear sweater now. Nov. end onwards the climate changes..then of course you must ...

you can avail university Guest House (Campus) for a night stay at very nominal charges provided that there is availability of rooms. Contact Guest House. Address can b taken from website.
