Friends,

It would be great if someone who already attended the interview could update the rest on the following:

  • What are the ORIGINAL certificates requested at the time of interview?
    • do we need to present all certificates from matriculation onwards?
  • Do they ask for employment/experience certificates?
  • Any other documents that should be carried to the interview.
Thanks in advance,

-Sree

School of health sciences conducted the presentation of the synopsis on 9th oct. they didn't verify any certificates even though it was mentioned in the IGNOU website. Don't know the same strategy applies to all schools, any way better to take the originals....
After the presentation, the panel gave us some corrections and we had to send the revised synopsis by 18th 0ct. I don't think all the short listed candidates will get calls for presentation. we had 25 in the list , only 7 are asked to present, out of that 5 are asked to submit the revised synopsis for further action.I think, after this stage only they will verify the certificates. It may not be correct also.better to clarify with the respective schools once you get the call letter.
we had to get the consent letter from the supervisor also. (to be send with the applicn )
The school will tell you what you have to carry with you. we had to take 9 copies of our synopsis. that's all.
Hope this is useful information
Good luck

Hello Whatsoever your are talking about Documents nothing at all there you need only to deliver about your thesis & for written test about language & literature after that if you qualify than you will have to produce.Ignou will offer you admission or not so first you have to prepare yourself to face only presentation

Sir I have attended for the presentation/interview for PhD in Dairy Science & technology ( school of Agriculture)
they didn't ask the any original certificates.
I think no need to carry any original certificates.
consent school will mention to carry the certificates at the time of interview.
but keep your copy of biodata  with u.

Hi Sree,
You see I am almost in my third chapter of the thesis. The concluding chapter is the 5th one and if I sit with it in some seriousness, I hope to complete it in less than another 4 - 8  months, I guess! Now my question is, if I finish it in less than 8 months (the entire thesis), then do I stand the chance to submit it or do I have to wait for atleast 2 years?
Regards,
Mrs. Kshama Shashidhar
