IgniteOrlando :: Status

Thank you for joining the IgniteOrlando Google Group. I thought I
would give you all a quick update to what I am doing to get this event
off the ground. Here is my todo list;

1. Invite people to the google group (this week!)
2. Build out the website (this week!)
3. Ask for volunteers (event organizers) for the following
- Space liaison
- Ignite talk coordinator
- Make project coordinator
- Videographer
4. Event Organizer Meetings (online or offline)
- assignments
- lock in a date for first event
5. Promote event

I just wanted to let everyone know who has joined so far that there is
a plan.

So, what can you do to help? Help me to advertise this google group
and get people on board.

I'd love to help coordinating the talks and bringing in speakers,
you can count me in for that.

Have you posted to the barcamp discussion list yet? Let me know
if you want me to hit that up.

I heard you talking about Ignite Orlando during the Orlando Scene
presentation w/ Rudloff and Price. It sounds like a great idea!
Looking forward to checking out the event when it gets setup.
