Make Project Coordinator Ideas

Since people are asking about the Make Project, I creating a new
thread.

I have ordered Make Magazine, it has yet to come in the mail. There
are some ideas located on their website; http://makezine.com/

Here are some of the ideas that I thought of that could be done;

- Card Sculpture : break people into groups of 5-10 give, them a deck
of cards (or two) and some tape. Which ever group builds the best
sculpture out of playing cards within 20 minutes all get a prize.
- Electronic Postcards : We use metal conductive paint, LED lights,
mini watch batteries and allow people to paint circuilt boards on US
Postal Service labels that we mail to other ignite groups, wired, make
magazine, as well as O'Reilly staff. Best one gets a prize. Time
limit, 20 minutes.

Here what some other groups have done;

- paper airplane contest
- soldering contest
- cupcake decorating

The Make project Coordinator would come up with the project, get it
approved and MC that portion of the event.

Maybe we could ask the public for ideas and then vote on them? What do
you think?
