You might recall me from last year’s Ignite Corvallis.
I know it’s beyond the deadline, but do your best to add me. I wasn’t tracking this event…then just found out about it.

Zero to Profit Delivery - ppt slides with me talking. At least 5 real examples of creating a profit from product/service in 24 hours laying a foundation for a business. This will take the audience from being "cerebral" to "action" for forming a profit making company. Slides are mostly just photos and I've incorporated a self authored poem (rythmic verses) into this and the next one. 2. How not to start up. This is a comical way to show what most people/teams do when they want to start a company. The lessons not to repeat for real entrepreneurs! Delivery: ppt slides with a poem 3. Sell, Sell, Sell like ____ (Not going to suggest "The Corvallis we Love" - would be too esoteric and visionary...) The blank is not what most would think "word beginning with H" instead it is Well. How to sell products and services efficiently and create demand. This is a serious/light take on closing deals taken from experiences from different settings. Some poetry incorporated as well. the announcement and its been way past the deadline. I know I'd be
pissed if I was an alternate and saw some random new proposal being
added to the line up that was never on the site.
But that's just my point of view. I think keeping it to 14 is the most
ideal solution. We can always recommend they keep the idea for the
next Ignite.

Quantity != Quality in this case. I agree with Jason that we should
pick one to fill in the 14th spot. If we find out after this ignite
that we could do more, then we can shoot for 16 next time but I'm
concerned about doing too many will just get the audience too bored
and stir crazy.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 is way too close to Nov. 5th for me find out and pull things together. Since I wasn’t tracking the event (being in India for 5 months this year) I’ll pull out as of today and just attend in a relaxing way.

We're a bit split on the last spot. Any chance you could put some
slides
together for #1 and send it to us this week? The slides deadline for
everyone is Monday at midnight so if you don't mind waiting until
