Looking Back at IRAS-BETA...
IRAS-BETA “Phase Name: Rise of the Mystics”
• Tested in CSIT ¾ and CSIT ¼ Sections.
• Phase Duration: September 2nd 2004 to December 18th 2004 i.e. 108
days.
• CSIT ¾ Community:
o The response was good as expected (35%).
o Six Groups were formed –
 PIRATES (Project: Javastr – IDE)
 ARTHA (Project – Database Support for Media Player)
 SANSRUIK (Student Welfare Community – Aim: Open Source Education)
 CHIMERA (Research on the Emergence of Alternative Sciences)
 PRACTICUM (Workshops) – Conducted a Workshop for CSIT ¼ Year
Batch.
 IGNITE (Official Web Group for CSIT ¾ Community)
• CSIT ¼ Year Community:
o The response is remarkable (80%).
o Three Groups have been formed –
 C-GROUP (Innovative Projects & Seminars in C Language)
 FWD “Fundamental Web Designing” (Web Designing using HTML and
FrontPage)
 AK-it (Projects & Seminars using Maya and 3DS Max)

it is great to hear about the iras running on the way to victory
(leading group in the college), if it works in ur college it should
not only be in the bound inside ur college it should spread all over .
