Dear Colleagues,

In case you have not gotten the seminar announcement for the BDP search in stat genomics, the seminar for the first candidate is today at 12, right on top of journal club. Of the 3 candidates my current impression is that Nilanjan is the most theoretical, but I have not heard him speak nor met him, so I may be completely wrong.  See below.

Just a reminder that Dr. Nilanjan Chatterjee will give a seminar on Thursday, Feb. 20^th from 12:-1:15.  The title of his talk is

“Genetic Architecture of Complex Diseases:  Implications for Discovery and Prevention.”

 

The title and abstract is attached.

 

Please Note:  Mountcastle Auditorium is located at 725 North Wolfe St. on the first floor of the Pre-Clinical Teaching Building which is behind Welch Medical Library at the NE corner of Monument and Wolfe Streets.
