Dear all:
The JHU Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC) is seeking proposals from faculty researchers for studies related to frailty and late-life decline as articulated in the three (3) attached requests for proposals. Successful applicants would receive salary, research core support, and mentorship in aging and frailty research (biological, clinical, translational, and epidemiological) through one of the following OAIC funding mechanisms:
· OAIC Pilot / Exploratory Studies Core (Pilot studies)
· OAIC Biostatistics Core (Development project)
· OAIC Biological Mechanisms Core (Development project)
OAIC-supported faculty members have been extraordinarily successful over the past 5 years, with a strong record of subsequent K or R awards that stem directly from the science and career enhancement produced as part of OAIC support.
Feel free to circulate this memo directly to interested faculty members. The deadline for applications is Friday July 10 at 5PM.
Thank you.
