Summary meeting

Hello everybody!

 

We had great news this week! We have agreed on the creation of some hubs (more info below) and things are gaining momentum! Thanks for all the support so far!

 

We had a meeting on Wednesday and here is the summary. Please, give your opinions, make your comments!

1) Official proposal to the Secretariat

We will use the latest version of our doc and adjust some details. I will send it here to the list. Please, make your comments and give your consent.

2) Contact with the DCs

We thought that the latest version of our doc is clear and concise enough to be sent to the DCs. I am responsible to get the e-mails in the IGF homepage and sent the document. But if you guys here on the list have connections with people in any of the DCs, you can send it yourselves. It´s always better to receive a proposal from someone we already know. Just let me know that you have already sent it, to avoid cross-posting.

3) New hubs:

India: Delhi and Mumbai (Rajesh)

US: Stanford (Max)

Second Life (Ginger and Branislav K.)

Still examining the proposal:

Brazil (Raquel and Marília)

Egypt (Rafik)

Argentina (Olga) Marília in touch with her

US- Berkman Center (Max)

4) Homepage

We urgently need to update it. If you guys have any suggestions, please send it to the list asap. Rafik will make the changes. (Rafik, did you find my suggestions?)
