Dear all,

A heartfelt thank you to each of you for making today’s IGF 2025 Workshop #53 – Leveraging the Internet in Environment and Health Resilience such a meaningful and engaging session.

I’ve taken a few screenshots during the session, but official materials will be made available by the end of the day. Feel free to send me your presentations if you haven't done so already.
I will be preparing a LinkedIn post later - please let me know if you would prefer not to be tagged.

Additionally, I will be finalising both the short and long versions of the session report this afternoon, as they are due shortly. If there are any key messages, quotes, or discussion points you'd like me to reflect in the report, please don’t hesitate to send them over in the next couple of hours.

Thank you once again for your commitment, energy, and generosity in preparing and contributing to this session.

Great work All!

Joao what was the Key Takeaway please?

First session of the Next Gen DDHT subgroup with collaborators !  Congratulations!!

I am on a mobile hub a new experience for me from optical fibre.. for now, sure recommend this for cost effective mobile connectivity!

WSiS follows well from this session. I am thinking for global connectivity we need the professionals and hospitals, clinics and pharmacy connected fast, so that health science can develop at an even speed globally. But actual patients will be at multiple levels. Those connected and those who are connected to varying degrees while funding catches all up or a new invention makes it more affordable...but we have to ensure data gathering and data management standards remain at par ...as a local doctor could connect their practice at a national level. A small pharmacy can use internet ordering etc.

Looking forward to hearing yoir insights during the session-  He rietta will you join us ?

Best, Amali
