Dear all,
Yesterday, there was an exciting discussion at the GESDA—Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator Summit: No longer just genetic manipulation, but cells based on synthetic genomes to feed humans. A utopia or a dystopia?
No more animal husbandry, no more agriculture, no more free farmers, no more biodynamic food, but only industrial food controlled by billionaires, sold as the solution to ecological and ethical problems. Unrealistic? The WEF is calling for lab-grown meat to be priced the same as natural meat by 2030 and for agricultural animal husbandry to cease by 2050.

Here is my original linkedIn post regarding that topic. When discussing nutrition, we could also discuss this topic.
