Dear WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025 Session Organisers,

 

A gentle reminder regarding remote participation.

 

As specified in the guidelines for session organisers: https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/forum/2025/Agenda/Organizers, kindly note the following:

 

ZOOM LINKS FOR REMOTE PARTICIPATION

 

  • Rooms at Palexpo are fully equipped for remote participation. The open space area is for on-site participants only.
  • All hybrid sessions use Zoom Meeting format.
  • Session organizers must ensure that remote speakers are registered for remote participation.
  • After registration is validated, participants receive a confirmation email with a link to their personal session portal. Please keep this email, as the link will be needed to join sessions during the event (see the image below):

  • Participants can select the session they want to join and click the “Join” button to access the virtual room. The virtual link will be available 30 minutes before the session start time.
  • One Zoom link per room, covering all hybrid sessions in that space.
  • The same link is used by both remote speakers and attendees.
  • Time management is essential – sessions exceeding their slot may be concluded to keep the programme on track.

  • Guidelines for Session Organisers

Kindly refer to the Guidelines for Session Organisers for general information related to your session, available at the session organisers page. We invite you to read the document thoroughly.

 

  • Agenda Online – Session Page

We thank session organisers for uploading the details of their respective sessions directly online through the personalised link. Kindly submit the final details of your session by 27 June 2025.

 

  • Social Media – Templates

We encourage you to use the social media templates available on the session organisers page to promote your session. Please use #WSIS when posting on social media channels.

 

  • Logistics Information

Details about the conference rooms and available services are provided on session organisers page.

 

  • Template for Submission of Outcomes

You can find the outcome submission template on the session organisers page. Please complete your outcome document in Word format, upload it to your session page via your personalised session link, and send a copy to us after your session concludes. When submitting online, upload the file under “Attachments” and name it: Outcome Document_[Title of Session]_[Organisers].

 

  • Registration

Registration is mandatory for all participants. Please register using the following link: https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/forum/2025/Home/Registration. You can also refer to the Guidelines for Session Organisers for additional information.
