ipod touch as mac mini controller

Hello

I am considering buying a new mac mini to be set up as a music server and tv recorder. It would be connected to an lcd tv.

Could I use your program on an ipod touch to control the mac mini instead of buying a keyboard and mouse?

What I want to do is access itunes, browse through it and have a method of jumping to artists names, such as would be acheived by pressing a letter on a keyboard (eg b for beatles)

What I do not want is a keyboard in my living room. An ipod touch would make a lovely remote control though.
