Assuming a that trained worker has +5 profession bonus and leads 5 untrained workers that means that an average day of labor costs 4 SP. That means that the crane cost 72 man years of labor to build. That means that it can pay for itself it self in one year if it can make 1 person do the work of 72. Lets say 100 once you factor in wages for the man who is the crane and the specialized crew he needs.

Never thought of that one. Of course you can do the same thing with giant as you can with these guys. That makes the crane even more effective. Giants would not have much trouble building stories 3 and 4 so it would only be needed for 5+ story buildings.

Indeed, back when I was playing 3.5 and walls of force could be horizontal I enjoyed many games of Simcity: Pathfinder building aerial castles with Wall of Force foundations. Block line-of-effect with a wall of stone "slipcover" and you didn't even need to worry about most brands of anti-magic attack.

Well, in the realm of home-brew, I think the magic crane isn't worth it. Getting a 3000 pound object up to the right height with a wood and rope crane was fairly easy. Getting it into the right position would be quite a bit harder, and the magic crane has a benefit there, but I doubt it is as much as 72 times harder to get objects where they need to be. Moreover, there is a potential issue with the magic crane.

Ma Kwun Mo is saved by the stunning Pak Wan Fai and her pet crane Yuen Yuk. In gratitude, Ma promises not to reveal Pak's identity to anyone. Later, at a kung fu meeting attended by Ma, the evil So Pang Hoi orders a fleet of poisonous bats to kill every other student at martial arts schools. His plans are thwarted by Yuen Yuk. While hurriedly searching for a remedy for the bats' toxins to treat stricken pupils, Pak encounters the embittered Butterfly Lam, and soon the two are embroiled in a vicious battle using lethal sound waves. Meanwhile, So continues on his quest to take over the world.(Source: RottenTomatoes) Adapted from the novel "Xian He Shen Zhen" by Sheng Wo Long. Edit Translation

The super compact G 326 crane was awarded as an innovative product with the Dame Awards at the Mets in Amsterdam which recognized both its technical and stylistic qualities. the structure is made of steel with composite material cowlings to make the shape more tapered. The lifting capacity is 300 kg with a rotation of the arm that varies from 74 to 110 according to the model chosen.

Crane, born Isas, is a Dedicate of the Living Circle religion at Winding Circle temple in Emelan. He is the first Air Temple dedicate,[1] and an initiate, which means he is a temple-mage. Crane has ambient plant magic, along with Rosethorn and Briar Moss. He is classified as a great-mage, which puts him on the caliber of Niklaren Goldeye, Rosethorn, Frostpine, Lark, Ishabal Ladyhammer, and others.

When the blue pox plague hit Summersea in 1036 KF, almost a year after the four young mages came to Emelan, Crane was put as the head of the task force in finding the cure and creating a diagnosis oil. As Rosethorn was out of commission for a while, since she was quarantined in Urda's House in the Mire, Crane had to make do without her. He asked Lark specifically to double to protections on the protective clothes as he would be dealing directly with the plague. When Rosethorn and Briar came back from Urda's House, as the quarantine was deemed unnecessary, Crane went directly to Discipline Cottage to ask her for help. Briar scolded him, saying he should find "one of them great-mages" who would be more up to the task. Crane was shocked and informed them all that each of their teachers were considered great-mages and that Rosethorn was considered one of the best at finding cures for illnesses, himself being another. Rosethorn and Briar both came to work for him. Osprey, one of his students, was in charge of the room where they were distilling the illness. Osprey was also taking bets on people working under Crane, to see when they would be sent out. Crane got rid of his scribe Peachleaf, who was the best midwife at Winding Circle. Briar suggested his sister Tris, who happened to be Niko's student and thus very good at spotting magic.

After it had been confirmed that there was magic in the pox, Niko requested Tris for an important mission into the sewers to find the source of the pox. Crane protested, saying that Tris was an accurate note taker who thought about what she wrote. Nonetheless, after they were done, they continued work. Everyone had a scare when a worker accidentally dumped a jar of the blue pox on Rosethorn. Crane fired him.

As a template initiate, Crane can use magic. He is even considered (or rather: considers himself) a great mage[7] and powerful mages with great knowledge would like to work for him.[8] His powers don't include the ability to see magic. He has to use a visualization potion for this.[9]

As a wildlife photographer it pays to be good, but it also helps to be lucky! Yesterday evening I was driving home from the Twin Cities to Duluth. I convinced my wife that taking two hour detour to Crex Meadows to view the Sandhill Crane migration was a worthwhile activity. As I turned the car off Interstate 35 and drove towards Grantsburg, Wisconsin I wondered if I was foolish asking for this detour. Storms and heavy cloud clover were working their way through central Minnesota. However, in the west I saw a potential gap in the sky, and I knew thousands of sandhill cranes would be flying back to the sedge swamp to spent the night after having fed all day on corn in the surrounding farmlands.

Ma Kwun-Mo (Tony Leung), a swordsman and initiate, had a fateful encounter with a mysterious beauty, Pak Wan-fai (Anita Mui) who rides a giant crane and plays a magical flute. Eager to discover more about her, Ma ends up being thrown into an epic martial arts battle involving Pak's estranged sister Butterfly who uses a magical killer pipa, poisonous vampire bats, a giant fire-breathing tortoise, an all-powerful warlord who wants to destroy the martial arts world, and an ancient bell which can grant its user lightning powers.

On his way to a congress of kung fu masters, an initiate falls from a high cliff, only to be rescued by lovely Tien Lam (Anita Mui), who rides a huge crane. The rest of the movie features a battle between warring martial arts factions, an equally fierce rivalry between the two daughters of the Crane Master, the accidental empowerment of an unprincipled master after having eaten half of a secret scroll, a battle with an immense tortoise whose spleeny vapors save a group of poisoned swordsmen, lots of great aerial fights against nearly invincible villains, and the usual blood spurting from assorted mouths.

There is no magic formula (other than the one above!), no deep profound secret. To improve, to understand, to go deeper into your training you have to put in the work over a sustained period of time, and you have to train hard, and apply corrections.

The Peti Peti glass cleaning cloth is shaped like a Japanese origami crane. Unfold it to clean your glasses, TV, Ipod or PC screen. The memory effect event lasts after washing with cold water. Just don't iron it!

Every single thing about Six Crimson Cranes worked. It is no exaggeration that Elizabeth Lim has mastered how to write a magical fairy tale world. She takes everything one would expect from fairy tales and turns them on their head. From trusted tropes to storytelling structures and everything in between, Elizabeth Lim both honors the fairy tale format and reworks it into something completely her own.
