IGDA Utah March Meeting - Portfolio Review Night

When: March 13th, 7:30pm-8:30pm

Where: SLC Main Library, Conference Room A (reservation pending)

What: Utah Game Devs Portfolio Review Night!

We'll start off with a presentation from local recruiting agency Arcade Freelance about how freelancing in the game industry works and some tips about good portfolios.

Then, those who brought a portfolio will set it up (laptop, or printed resumes) and your peers (and any volunteer hiring managers or industry veterans that attend) will go around to give feedback on your portfolio.

It will also be a good networking opportunity to meet other game developers in your local area and discuss the latest news in the industry.

Just an update that the library has Room A available and will confirm the reservation tonight. 

There is one more portfolio spot available. Industry veterans and hiring manager reviewer volunteers of any number are more than welcome.

Update: I haven't gotten the confirmation email like I was expecting last night, but they said they were a little behind so I'm expecting we will still be fine to meet in room A. 

The portfolio slots are now filled. Anyone with experience who is willing to come review portfolios is still welcome!
