IGDA Meeting in two weeks Sept 14th at EA Salt Lake Downtown

Hey all,
Just a reminder for those that were not already planning on it: we will be having our next IGDA Chapter Meeting in two weeks, on Sept 14th.
This one will be a roundtable format, and we will be discussing as a community the topic of Tools and Work Pipelines and radical ideas to improve them in your daily workflow to increase throughput and productivity. Josh Jones will be moderating the discussion and present some of the various methodologies for discussion of pros and cons and for all of us to share our experiences.
This meeting will be graciously hosted by EA Salt Lake and their new studio downtown- full directions will come soon but it is located downtown around 324 S State St. Please RSVP to vazo...@gmail.com if you can make it!
Also, please note that the IGDA Game Design Round Table sub group has been discontinued. Feel free to come to the meeting in two weeks and stay and chat afterwards for game design discussion if you like, and as always we welcome volunteers who want to help out on the organizing committee- just find me at the meetings to apply!

Just an update on this:
EA will be providing snacks, so be sure to thank them and be respectful of the space when you are there!
In our new location, there are some restrictions for you to be aware of – the studio work areas will be off limits, so we’ll need to ask that folks don’t wander around. We’ll show them to the conf room and we’ll need that to be where they stay for the meeting.

There is a complication with building access – we’re still working this out. Be sure to watch for an update email the day before (next Monday) for final details on how to get in.

Parking - please park in the attached parking structure (accessible
coming South on State St, between 300S and 400S).
* Barrier may be up but take a ticket anyway
* If barrier down take a ticket and we'll validate
Drive to the floor labeled 4W.
If you're coming by public transport or by foot, please still access
the building via the parking structure - the main building access will
be locked.
Access the building from the parking structure (should be labeled
'Floor 3'). We'll have someone check the door frequently to let
people in, so you shouldnt have to wait too long.
