For those who may want to exhibit your game at DIY Festival this year, you can start your application here and submit a scholarship request (asking for all fees to be paid as part of the Indie Arcade Sunday-only Exhibit).

We hope this message finds you well! I’m Sergio, the STEM Coordinator with Craft Lake City. We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons are officially OPEN, and we’d love to invite you to submit an application to join us in the Google Fiber STEM Building!

Next year’s festival will take place August 8–10, 2025, at the Utah State Fairpark. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your innovative work, connect with thousands of attendees and inspire the next generation of STEM enthusiasts. We loved working with you in the past so we’d love to see an application from you!

Start your application (and find more details) here: https://craftlakecity.com/diy-festival/

Applications close early spring in 2025.

Thank you for being a part of our STEM community! If you have any questions about the festival or the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Warmly,

Sergio Hernandez

Reminder for those indies looking to share their games on Sunday Aug 10th at DIY Festival, applications are still open and will close in a couple months!
You must fill out an application and a sponsorship form.
Just say you are part of the Sunday-only Games Made in Utah or IGDA Utah group in the STEM building, and that you want to share your game and how it was made with the attendees.
When it asks what you need at the end, ask for all fees to be covered.

Heads up if you got an email titled "Thank You for Applying for Craft Lake City’s Scholarship" saying they don't have funding and you need to pay a fee, don't worry about it, as long as you put in your scholarship application that you're part of the Indie Arcade or IGDA Utah or Games Made in Utah group, you can ignore that.
I was told that we are still missing a lot of scholarship forms so please fill that out if you are wanting to be an exhibitor!
Thank you!

P.S. I met with Neumont today and they are excited to be hosting the Finish Your Game Jam next week! RSVP here if you're planning to participate! https://itch.io/jam/slc-finish-your-game-jam-2025
