Applications
for DIY Fest officially close this Wednesday and we only have two developers who have started an application! It is much easier to get the reserved
space if we have everyone apply before the deadline. If we don't have enough interest, we may not be able to do the event.
Let me know if you have any questions!
(This event is for indie developers to showcase their game and answer questions about how it was made during the DIY Festival which is run by Craft Lake City every year. We've been doing a Games Made in Utah / Indie Arcade deal where they let us have booth space and power on Sunday only for free if we make it an attraction and we apply for scholarships along with the regular applications. Developers will be expected to show
passion for their project and answer questions about how it was made, to help promote STEM education to attendees. Developers need to bring their own computers/tables/chairs/backdrop/banner/signs. It is a great way to get traffic and playtesting.)
P.S. If you are interested in helping organize this event, or Finish Your Game Jam coming up in May, or a Proud Utah Game Developers pride parade entry, email me at
