DLF March: Jake Hempson - Concept artist/3D modeller

Event starts at: 7:00pm

Talk starts at: 7:30pm

Talk ends around 8:30pm but stream may continue until 9pm.

From 7pm to 7:30pm we will have the zoom meeting so that everyone can have time to join, grab a drink, chat using voice or text. Jake will start his talk at 7:30pm, at which time everyone else will be muted. Once he is done, we may unmute anyone who would like to ask questions. We will use the text chat to see who would like to talk. Once questions are done we can unmute everyone and talk for a while. I will wrap up at 9pm.

ABOUT :

Jake is an artist who has worked both in game dev and in film, he is currently on a high end sci-fi/comic based film project working as a 3D modeller/illustrator.

He will be speaking about his experiences as both a concept designer and as a production artist - from his start in the industry as a designer/ illustrator, then transitioning into various digital art roles (production) and returning to his passion as an illustrator (armed with 3D).
