Hi everyone :) Hope you had a lovely holiday! Apologies if you've gotten this already -- we're trying to hit all the groups and there is likely some overlap.

We just wanted to send out a reminder about the IGDA Philly picnic next weekend! We'll be placing our food order next week so if you plan on coming, please head over to

 and RSVP so that we have an accurate headcount for everything! Your $5 (plus some odd change for processing fee) will cover food, drinks, snacks, desserts, etc.

It's that time of year -- it is with great pleasure that IGDA Philadelphia announces the second annual IGDA Philadelphia Summer Picnic!

Grab your family and friends, and join IGDA Philly on Saturday, July 14 from 12pm - 4pm at Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in South Philly. FDR Park is located near the sport complexes, right across the street from the AT&T Stadium stop on the Broad Street Line.

• Time: 12pm - 4pm
• Location: Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park
• Picnic Area: 10 & 11 (please take a moment to review the picnic locations on the map so you know where to find us! we will be unable to post signs in the park)

This year, IGDA Philadelphia will provide all food and beverages. As a result, there will be a nominal fee. $5 for adults and children over 5. Children 5 and under will be free. This is to cover the cost of the noms. HOWEVER -- if you REALLY want to bring something delicious, you are more than welcome to. You will still need to purchase a ticket though.
