Well, folks, it's been a good run and I wish the best for the game
industry in New Orleans, but my family and I are moving back to Dallas
at the end of the month. I was hoping to have some sort of transition
in place at this point, but it didn't really happen. If anyone is
interested in taking over the leadership of the chapter, please let me
know and I can get control of the website and this Google Group turned
over to you.

NOLA has the capability of becoming a great game dev city, and I hope
you will carry on the effort to make that happen.

That is said news for NOLA in general and for the game community in
particular! And sad news for me too! I guess at least I'll know someone
else in Dallas now!

Very sad news, man, but I'm sure it's all for good reasons.  You moving at the end of this month, or end of June?  Hopefully we can find some time to meet up before you go!

Everyone,

First off, I would like to thank Kevin O'Gorman for his efforts in bringing IGDA to New Orleans, and his support in making Louisiana a gaming hub. It is very sad to see him leave Louisiana, but I wish my brother in arms the best luck in their endeavorers. I know Kevin will always sing praises about New Orleans and Louisiana, and always will assist in IGDA matters.

I and the rest of the IGDA of Baton Rouge would like to offer assistance in this transition from to the next IGDA Nola President. Louisiana Digital Gaming Initiative would like to sponsor, and the host the next IGDA Nola event and assist in elections of IGDA Nola Executive Committee. 

I will work with Kevin and the National Executives to quickly assist in the election process for a new president aka Bus Driver for the New Orleans Chapter. I cc'ed the executive advisor board to answer any of your questions.
