//=========================================
Greetings from IGDA Singapore.

Here's what we've got lined up for you in December!

"The Art of Game Dev"
We've teamed up with Singapore Toy, Games & Comics Convention to do an IGDA talk on:
Friday 10th December, 15.30 to 19.00
You can see more details HERE

Speakers include..
  1. Imaginary Friends co-founder Stanley Lau
  2. Lucasfilm Senior Animator Keat On
  3. We've also got Englobe founder Kate Edwards lined up! Kate spent 15 years at Microsoft looking at Cultural and Geo-political issues, among others working with Microsoft Game Studios on a number of high profile games such as Fable and Halo. Fresh from GDC Shanghai, she will be talking about Cultural issues in game development.
  4. Alex Mitchell from NUS will be talking about schools and education for game developers.

Afterdrinks!
@ Durty Nellys next to Esplenade MRT at ~1930.

And the cost to you is..
Free of charge as usual, but you may need a valid ticket to STGCC ($15) to get up to the room, that'll also get you access to the Cosplay Competition and the rest of the show.

Before we sign off,

We're doing the next round of salary surveys so help us out by filling it in. These help everyone see how the industry is going, and what we in the IGDA can do to help you guys.

We'll do a talk about the survey results in January or Februrary, and post up a PDF with the key data on the IGDA website.

The survey is available HERE: http://t.ymlp186.com/jmaramwhapaqqapaejq/click.php.

Do share it with co-workers who might not be on the mailing list; the more responses we get the more useful the data will be.

Finally.. If you know people who should be on the IGDA list but aren't..
If you know anyone who's not receiving these newsletters, thus missing out on the fun, they can subscribe HERE.

Thanks!
