Hello all chatters! I'm in search of some slideshow software for Windows. Mostly interested in wedding slideshows. I'm no pro (yet, hopefully), so I just googled and went for a few programs. Can't make my mind though and decided to ask for professionals' opinions. Consider both free and paid software. Any recommendations from real users?
I have a Microsoft Surface computer running Windows 8.1 that is essentially useless for me as a computer but is a great "picture frame". I installed Gallery HD and it runs a slideshow of pictures in one of two folders I switch between occasionally...about 2000 pictures in all. It runs every day, all day.
It depends on your definition of a slideshow. If you just mean a series of pictures - all with the same duration, just fading between them, and music in the background with no synchronisation between the pictures and the music , then something like Faststone will do fine.
