Certificate Course on Arbitration

Dear Friends
I have received a communication from our Branch Chairman CA Vijaykant Kulkarni. He has sent to me a mail received from him from the Secretary CECL & WTO. The Committee is willing to take up the Course in Pune in January – February 2012.
I am enclosing an application form to enroll for the said course. As we did last time for the IFRS course as well as the Valuation Course, let us fill in the forms, attach our cheques for Rs. 15,000 favouring “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” and I will arrange to collect the same from you in the first week of January 2012.
Let us plan in such a way that the course starts in Pune on Saturday 28th January 2012.

Sub: Certificate Course on Arbitration
This is in reference to your email dated 12th December, 2011 on the above subject.
We are happy to note that your goodself is interested in hosting the next batch of the Certificate Course on Arbitration in Pune in the month of January- February 2012.
In this connection, we may inform you that the duration of the Course is Six Days, either continuously or on weekend basis (Saturdays and Sundays) or (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). Thereafter the Evaluation Test is also held on the last day of the Course. The Minimum number of Participants required for the Course is 30. The Committee has prescribed the Participation Fee of Rs. 15,000 for Pune. The participants who undergo the Course successfully and pass the Evaluation Test are awarded the Certificate of Participation and their names are included in the ICAI Panel of Arbitrators.
We may request you to send the detail proposal mentioning the proposed options for dates, venue, faculty (local), expected number of participants etc.
It may be mentioned that the Committee Secretariat would provide you all the Technical Inputs, including Faculty and the Background Material etc. The Committee however desires you to make suitable arrangements, providing local coordination etc. for organizing the Course.
We would be grateful to receive your reply in the matter at the earliest to enable us to place the matter before the competent authority for a final decision.
