story file transfer

my ipod touch wi fi is broke. how can i transfer file to ipod touch ?
or am i screwed, if i jailbreak ipod will i be able to move file over?

You don't need to jailbreak your device; there are several programs
you can use to transfer files to and from your device via USB without
jailbreaking, some of which are even free, such as this one

Using it or a similar program with your iPod Touch connected, browse
to the App folder for Frotz, then Documents/Games, and copy
your .z#, .dat, .zblorb or .gblorb file into this folder.

Regarding the wi-fi issue, if there's an Apple Store near you, I
recommend you take it there and have them look at it. Sometimes they
will replace devices with hardware problems even if it's not under
warranty or Apple Care anymore, if it's a known defect. They might
not be able to do anything, but it's worth a shot.
