I've put all the Scot Adams adventures in z5 format into the apps
games folder using the iPhone Explorer app on my Mac. They all appear
just fine and work but there is no metadata. It says unknown author
and no box art. Is there anyway to overcome this?

iOS Frotz does not include metadata for any Scott Adams adventures
because they aren't originally in Z-machine format and generally don't
match the quality filter I use to cull what gets bundled with Frotz
when it is packaged.

However, you can manually enter the metadata, including artwork. Go
to the (i) settings page and enable editing story info. Then you can
use the Edit button in the upper right when on the details page about
any Story and edit the title, author, and IFDB TUID. You can also add
artwork using image cut and paste between another app.

Note that if you had used the built-in web file transfer to get the
games into Frotz instead of iPhone Explorer, you could have entered
the metadata and upload artwork there as well.
